Connecting With Your Higher Self

Connecting With Your Higher Self

When you want to listen to a particular radio station, you tune your radio to that station, tuning in to a particular frequency. Same when you want to watch a particular show on TV. It is the frequency you tune into that determines what you hear and what you see.

Our brains operate in very much the same way, except that we have only two stations we can tune into – the ego station and the higher-self station.

The ego station is the station that originates in the programmed mind, which contains all our limiting beliefs that create our fears. The ego station is our wounded self, our false self – the protected self we learned to be as we were growing up and needed to find ways to have control over getting love, avoiding pain, and feeling safe. Our ego wounded self is a closed circuit – it operates on old information that we acquired as we were growing up, information that is no longer relevant or even true. It is not open to new information. It is not open to truth.

The higher-self station is the station that taps into the unlimited information from the universe – information that is beyond the programmed mind. The higher-self station taps into the Source of truth that is always here to guide us in our highest good.

How do you tune your frequency to your higher-self station?

We have all been given a “dial” that either tunes us to the low frequency of our ego station, or to the high frequency of our higher-self station. This dial is our INTENT.

We have only two intents to choose from:

1. The intent to get love and avoid pain with some form of controlling behavior

2. The intent to learn about loving ourselves and others

The intent to have control over getting love and avoiding pain lowers our frequency and keeps us stuck in our limited mind – our ego mind. When we choose this intent/frequency, we are stuck thinking the thoughts – the lies – and taking the unloving actions that create fear, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, stress, anger, jealousy, resentment, and so on. The ego frequency is the frequency of being a victim. We choose this frequency when we choose the intent to have control over getting love and avoiding pain.

At any moment, we can change our minds and choose the intent to learn – about what is in our highest good and the highest of all. We can choose to learn about our ego mind rather than stay stuck in it. The moment we choose the intent to learn about love, we raise our frequency and are able to access the higher-self station. This is like moving out of the limitations of our personal computer and into the Internet – only better. While some of the information on the Internet is true and some is not, all of the information we receive from the higher-self station is true – it comes from the Source of Truth.

The only thing that stops us from choosing the higher-self station is our addiction to control. The ego mind wants control over our feelings, over others’ feelings and actions, and over the outcome of things. When your desire for control is greater than your desire to be loving to yourself and others, and greater than your desire to live in truth, you will remain stuck in the ego station.

The ego station tells us that we can have control over things that we actually have no control over – others and outcomes. While we can have some control over our feelings with various addictions, this only leads to greater unhappiness. Our feelings are an inner guidance system, letting us know when we are on track or off track in our thinking and behavior, so suppressing them with addictions only lead to more pain.

You will discover great joy when you choose the intent to learn about loving yourself and others and access the incredible information that is yours when you are tuned into your higher-self station.

4 Ways to Postpone your Procrastination

We’ve all done it at some time or other. We put off our exercise routine until tomorrow; we continually delay finishing that project or starting that business.

Procrastination is the mother of all demons and can literally stop you in your tracks from achieving all that you desire.

Here are 4 effective processes you can use to slay this giant.

1. Do it now

Hold your breath and jump right in! Putting things off until the last minute is a bad habit and like all habits is ingrained in our subconscious mind and hard to break. It feels like the normal thing to do and we simply continue along our path. To complete a task immediately may even feel strange or like a forced action.

2. Take baby steps

Sometimes we procrastinate because the task may be intimidating to us. Perhaps we have no possible inkling on where to start. In these cases, it is quite ne to take it one step at a time. Say you are preparing a business plan and for the 5th time this week, you’ve turned on the PC and looked at the blank screen. Or you’ve just remembered you need to do some more research before you begin…you’re still not ready. You simply need to break down the project into smaller pieces and tackle each bit separately. Make each task an individual project and after completion of each one, celebrate and acknowledge your achievement.

3. Forget it

Why force the issue? If you have been ‘dragging your feet’ on something for a very long time, it may all be for the best. Something, somewhere is trying to tell you something. That something is your intuition and it is usually right! Think about something that you have been putting off again and again and again. What are the reasons that you need to complete this task in the first place? Does someone want you to do this? What is THEIR agenda? What are YOUR reasons for this lengthy delay? I find it amazing that 99% of the time I put off doing something, I am thankful that I did! Disregarding a project after a long period of procrastination is however usually a last resort.

4. Support team (I can’t help you with this one)

Do you put off tasks because you feel that they are too big and complex for you to handle alone? Or because you need assistance? Be honest with yourself. “No man is an island”. Ask for help! There are many resources out there that can provide you with all you need to carry out your job. If you’re a solo-professional and you put off answering emails, then don’t answer them yourself. Hire an assistant, and some college students that want experience, get a family member to help. Procrastinating on life changing activities could be as a result of fear of the unknown. Get a mastermind group together, and a mentor, join a support group. You don’t have to do it all by yourself. Just ensure that to kick this habit; you do what feels good to you in whatever method you choose. You’ll surely postpone procrastination for a very long time

New Thought!

New Thoughts!

Creating a new life requires new thoughts. It’s simple. Decide what you want – like weighing 150 pounds and being and off your meds. Then, in your mind and on paper, write A LOT about what you need to think and feel to do the shit to get there.

Most of us try to make ourselves do things while still keeping our old bad thoughts. If you picture your future self -planning with ease, that means you today makes a plan and quits complaining about it, shutting down the doubts. It means you’ve got your planner in a place you can’t miss it, and keep stickie notes on your desk as a backup in case you need to do a quickie plan. You today is learning how to be excuse-free so that future you plans with ease.

Or maybe you picture your future self being at goal weight with ease. Enjoying your life. That means you today must notice when you’re thinking how hard weight-loss is and focus on ways to make it easier. You today must spend time finding out what’s working and feeling easier and write about it.

Your future self is not dwelling on the past. You’re not focused on all the things you can’t do. You’re glad you finally lost the weight. That means you today needs to notice when you’re thinking “I can’t” and challenge yourself to figure out what you can do in this moment to think “I can.”

When you Think you Can, YOU WILL!

Your brain is the most powerful tool on the planet. Money could never buy or reproduce it. Managing your brain (and your thoughts) is the most important thing you will ever do to create your desired results.”

As a Life Coach. I learned the latest, laser-like tools and cutting-edge techniques to help you manage thoughts, and actions—and thereby results. My life coach model is amazing and will help you see life in a whole new way.”

Having a coach will change your life!

Having a coach will change your life!

When you’re going through the hard growth, there is nothing more valuable than going through it with someone who has wisdom, perspective, and very sound judgment, especially if you have a crazy crazy mind like mine.

Every conversation that you have with the coach is a reset to what is possible for you. It’s an hour a week where you focus on believing and making decisions for the person you want to be and the life you want to create. How valuable is that for creating the result you want? Having that hour for two people’s minds to focus on what you want.

Having a coach also means hearing the truth, even when it’s hard. The most powerful thing that you’re ever going to hear is, “You are wrong.” It’s the best news ever. Because if you’re wrong, you have room to grow, room to evolve, and possibility for new results. When you’re right about your shitty situation, there is no solution because you’re right.

A coach keeps you in massive action, and massive action is the only way that you achieve your results.

In a society where we feel so isolated as humans, working with a coach helps you feel less alone in this world.

And then one of my favorite things that I think makes a coach so valuable is the way they see you.

When you want a result that you don’t have yet, you don’t have it because you aren’t that person yet, and you have to grow to become that person. You have to think differently, you have to feel differently, you have to do different things. One of the most painful things we as humans encounter is massive growth, and so one of my favorite things that I think makes a coach so valuable is the way they see you. They believe you can do it, and then possibility sneaks in and opens your mind up.

What is the value of getting where you’re going 100 times faster? Or feeling more alive every day. Of being healthier in your mind and body and spirit? Of having someone believe in you when you don’t?

How valuable is creating the result you want in your life?

This is the value of having a coach.

Do Hard Things!

I CAN! I WILL!

Thinking about what you CAN do and what you CAN change is everything.

I can handle this…I always do.

It’s not that I don’t know…I just haven’t figured it out yet.

What is the next best decision I can make?

It’s just a matter of time until I figure it out so don’t quit.

What’s in my control in this situation?

Sometimes you just need some new thoughts to open your mind up to keep ongoing. Use these the next time you feel stuck, see yourself procrastinating, or are on the verge of quitting.

DO WORK!

Mind Power: The Ultimate Success Formula

Mind Power: The Ultimate Success Formula

What does it take to be successful?

Ask around and you will find different answers to the formula of success. The truth is, success leaves clues and you can achieve the success in the area you desire by observing the common qualities and principles. They are simple and considered to be common sense but most people simply do not follow them.

Let me share with you one of my favorite quotes:

“There are no secrets to success. It is the results of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure” Colin Powell

As stated in that quote, there are three key factors to achieve massive success in your life:

  1. Preparation

You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect. Start with the first step and keep moving. Success doesn’t happen overnight. Prepare, prepare, and prepare. You must be ready to receive the success you desire. Set your sight to the destination that you want to achieve, then work and prepare for the moment when the opportunity knocks your door.

  1. Hard Work

Success needs hard work. Don’t listen to these ‘get rich quick’ schemes. You need to build your character and work hard on yourself and your business to achieve greatness. Work hard and work smart. Do the right things and do them in the right way. Don’t procrastinate. Take bold actions. Work long hours and craft your legacy.

  1. Learning from failure

Successful people do not see failures as failures. They see them as important learning lessons. Lessons that are capable of giving them insights to prevent such mistakes from happening again. By adopting this mindset of turning each failure into a learning lesson or opportunity, you can never fail until you yourself quit.

Do work! If you need help or accountability, I am your girl!

Mindset is Everything!

Mindset is Everything!

Today I’m talking about how to handle the stress of not knowing what’s going to happen

It’s important to understand WHY waiting feels so uncomfortable and HOW our attempts to avoid the wait often backfire.

On days like today, I used to wish for a fast-forward button on life. Something to help me disconnect from what was happening and how I was feeling.

For me that usually meant throwing myself into work, raiding the fridge, or pouring a drink.

All my attempts to not feel the discomfort of waiting worked to a point. But they never felt very good in the moment or the next day.

The problem isn’t that that these behaviors are wrong (they have zero moral value). The problem is that eventually your distractions catch up with you.

All the thoughts creating anxiety are just waiting to surface again. And all the feelings of discomfort are left unprocessed, waiting to come out sideways.

So what are you supposed to do?

The goal is to stop the overwhelm, catastrophizing, and “what if” fixations, leading to the desire to escape.

The only way to do that is to get to the bottom of the one belief fueling all the discomfort of waiting: I’m not sure I can handle what might happen.

This is the lie. We are all so much more capable than we know.

You have a brain that WANTS to solve the problem that come your way. That’s what it was designed to do. It’s just that no one taught us how to harness this power.

If you want help with this, I am here to help!

Anxiety

Anxiety

There are three facets of a personality around which the fabric of life drapes. Namely professional, emotional and physical. In our quest for self-mastery, we tend to work mostly on these parts. The true art of life is to balance them all while handling daily challenges that are sure to arise.  If any facet gets imbalanced, you and those surrounding you, will immediately notice it. In fact, the delicate balancing act among the three facets can also be evidenced in your environment.  Let’s understand what creates the imbalance in the first place. What are the primary reasons requiring a need for balance to match our desired growth?

If a random group of hard-working people are asked, ‘How many regularly feel the ‘fear’ of doing something new?’ one will find that such fear is relatively common. Let me put it another way, ‘When it was last time you did something for the first time?’ You might be surprised with the resulting paucity of affirmative responses. Remember, the question is not about what the group has been doing. Instead, the purpose behind asking these questions is to put the person and his or her feelings in an uncomfortable (but temporary) situation. In the end, it is the feelings of the unknown that cloud our thinking. But fortunately for us, uncertainty can also serve as the immediate trigger examining our emotions initially.

We often label these feelings as ‘Anxiety.’ And anxiety is a natural state of mind where a what we feel is what triggers fear in the first place. Some experts argue that it was fear during our human evolution that saved us from extinction at the hands of so many natural enemies.

So, one is left to ask: why anxiety in the present age is looked at as a negative experience?

No doubt, you have heard and read much about ‘stress’. Stress is what one feels when under inordinate pressure—whether physical or emotional, no matter the source. This is also the exactly the same stress you feel in a variety of situations—including when you don’t get what you need in your professional or personal live.  This resulting pressure is inevitably sparked whenever performance is continuously demanded over and above your available hours. It is the pressure that creates a work-life imbalance that seems to be so common in today’s society.

The bottom line is such a situation contributes to the failure to heal your body and mind. The same goes for ‘Anxiety in today’s context. You feel it when modern life inhibits healing our minds and bodies in a natural way due to the stress we experience on a day- to-day basis.

How can one address these feelings?  Is there any way to address fear, anxiety, and stress in a holistic manner? Or put in different words, how can I rid myself of this stress and overcome the accompanying anxiety?

This is often where coaching adds the most value—helping you to identify the early warning signs, and then teaching techniques to correctly identify and resolve the feeling we call anxiety.

So ‘anxiety’ is a product of significant imbalance in your professional, emotional and physical status. If, as I strongly believe, we are products of our own choices, then it your choice alone as to what thoughts and inclinations you follow. Afterall, choice empowers us to make decisions. And the decisions we make on a daily basis form the foundation of who we are and what we do. Remember, it was your choice to get up early in the morning and go out for a jog. Or, it could have been your choice to stay in bed for 30 more minutes. Your choice and is yours alone, and you benefit or are penalized according to how your thoughts guide your choices. Remember, it is well said that, it is the first choice you make in the morning that sets the stage for your entire day.  How you make these choices ultimately is a function of your mindset. If you have a good coach to help you focus on your life’s goals by fine-tuning your mindset correctly, it is highly likely that you will achieve those goals.

The proper balancing of your life is an act of self-justice (your mindset is the springboard for what you choose to do and not to do). Some might question how can you be certain that your choices and decisions are correct? My response is, I am not talking about right or wrong in these instances. Instead, a correct decision is a matter of position and circumstance. Here, the coach provides helpful guidance on what to choose, when to choose, and how to choose. Coaches are here to guide clients to choices that are balanced in nature and to help them further in their personal and individual goals to create a better life.

In conclusion, ‘anxiety’ is created by nature to help us stay alive. Anxiety can be your friend. A good coach will help you manage that anxiety to ensure the proper balance and make your life better in every sense.

Dealing with Fear!

Dealing with Fear!

When you let fear take hold, you become even more fearful and end up creating a debilitating cycle that works like this:  Fear breeds lack of action.  Lack of actions breeds lack of experience.  Lack of experience breeds ignorance.  And ignorance breads fear.  It makes you afraid to do the very thing that would be beneficial to you.  Taking actions mean you’ll have to move into the unknown and do the untried – and that can be scary.  But if you give in to your fears, you won’t more forward.  You don’t receive the benefit of what you avoid, nor do you gain the valuable experience that will make your life better.  As a result, you remain ignorant about that area of life, and ignorance always breads more fear, making it much harder to push ahead and get things done.

Harry Truman once said:  “The worst danger we face is the danger of being paralyzed by doubts and fears.  The danger is brought on by those who abandon faith and sneer at hope… by those who spread cynicism and distrust and try to blind us to our great change to do good for all mankind.”

Somebody said fair is the darkroom where all negatives are developed.  It’s interest paid in advance on a debt you may never owe.  Don’t let fear hold you back by achieving what you always wanted to achieve.

What is Life Coaching and How Can I Help YOU!

Life Coaches are responsible for guiding people that are confused on what to do into their lives. They support goal-setting, personal growth, and behavior modification of their clients. As a professional Life Coach, I help people to achieve their goals by improving different actions necessary to take control of future plans. And No, I don’t just make of list of steps for you to take. What if I told you there is another way to get to where you want to go? Nothing that you have tried in the past.  Because if what you did in the past worked, you wouldn’t be where you are now.  Right?

As a life coach I can show you how to use one of the most powerful tools in the world — your mind — to make your dreams come true.  Using “The Model”, I can teach you how to coach yourself so you can change your thoughts, empower your feelings, and take massive action. I can help you discover more of who you really are so you can live the life you’ve always imagined.

Your brain is your most important asset. It is the most important resource. It will give you the highest return on your investments. And yet, how often do we think about the brain as an asset? What can you do to make your brain even more valuable? The more knowledge that you have in your brain, the more valuable it becomes. Invest in your brain.

Changing how you think will unlock goals that you never thought were possible.   Losing the last 10 pounds that, just never can stay off.  Reaching your next promotion at your job.  Even having the best relationship with that someone special in your life that you didn’t think was possible because they never want to change.

Who doesn’t want that?

I know I do.
